I was there! It was ace. Quiet as the Beloften raced and then building and building and by the men you could hardly move. I only saw the last lap attacks from this video which is pretty staggering. Took a Belgie virgin with me who had only seen a London League at Hillingdon. Vive le difference! Check out last year's last lap for ultra contrast. Cross rules my little world. I have images but don't want to post them before Rouleur mag decides what kind of edit for its cross feature. Oh yes, there will be a cross feature. US v UK v Belgium. Keep em peeled!
you lucky thing! don't think i'd be able to hold the excitement in if I got over to see a race like that - got a huge buzz just watching the wee video clip.
That last lap was riveting. Nys was incredible. the attacking - stunning!
08 conditions looked flippin' mental - especially racing down the descent!
